media

An application process for managing and caching the conversion of media. Most common use is to create png or jpeg images for a web page from encapsulated postscript or from latex math expressions. Conversions may be preregistered or carried out on demand. They are carried out using a background process. The interface is designed to be extensible with a registration process to specify how different conversions are carried out.

It is available as a tar archive or the latest development version may be retrieved using the GIT Version control system using
